Job Description:
Looking for a controls engineer to help get projects caught up on. Projects include helping to create a new product with Servo motors and safety proc sensors. Controls Engineer involve PLC code and modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing code for Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on controls troubleshooting of PLCs and equipment in the shop - troubleshooting includes electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic
- Collaborate between departments – engineering, sales, procurement – to ensure controls projects are on time and on budget
- Assist with building complex automated systems for customers
- Monitor system effectiveness and provides troubleshooting support on new machine builds
- Repair machinery on site
